Hello,

You have severe headache and pain in the right eyes and ears. It commonly occurs due to migraine headaches and sinus infections. In the case of a migraine headache, the pain almost always is behind only one eye. Bruising is mostly due to small blood vessels, or capillaries, beneath the skin break, blood leaks into the surrounding tissue. This causes discoloration or bruising.

Trauma or injury to the face or head may cause bleeding beneath the skin. You can apply ice. You can use a warm compress and gentle massage after swelling around the affected eye gets reduced. Your black eye should heal in 2 weeks. You can also apply ointment thrombophob on the affected area but be cautious it should not get inside your eyes. To get rid of pain and headache you can take sumatriptan (Imitrex, Tosymra).

Get clinically examined by an ENT and get imaging tests and investigations to detect sinusitis so that it can be treated at the earliest. Your ENT may refer you to an Eye specialist to detect if their is a rise of the intra ocular pressure or not. You will be accordingly treated. Stay away from stressful lifestyle, alcohol use, infection, bright lights, fatigue, etc.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nupur K., General & Family Physician
