Suggest Medication For Pigmentation Problem?

Hello Dr, Im using Tenovate GN for last five years regularly applying on my face in night time for pigmentation problem. Now since last two weeks im applying natural aleovera and i stopped applying tenovate GN cream. Is this process will solve for my pigmentatiopn problem. Or suggest me good treatment.

Hello and welcome to healthcare magic.

You did the right thing by stopping appliaction of Tenovate -Gn cream. It contains a potent steroid clobetasol and is not recommended for use over face for risk of steroid side effects like acne, photosensitivity, skin thinning, atrophy/telangiectasia and facial hair growth, which is specially troublesome in females.

You could use a broad-spectrum sunscreen, whcih offers both UVA and UVB protection throughout the day.

A night cream containing one or more of the following ingredients e.g Kojic acid, hydroquinone, glycolic acid, arbutin can be used once daily at night for pigmentation
