Hello,

The relapse of diarrhea indicates underlying residual infection after previous treatment or another infection from food.

Primary guidelines at present:

- Drink more liquids to maintain hydration.
- Strict dietary measures to avoid spices, non-veg, and commercial foods.
- Probiotics containing fresh yogurt in diet.
- GI specific antibiotic with metronidazole on pack and Racecadotril drug prescription with your doctor.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel
