General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

For urinary tract infection urine culture is advisable to find causative organism. According to the culture report, antibiotic course prescribed. Meanwhile, take fruit juice and water more.

For diabetes control alternative to metformin like gliclazide, ripaglinide etc can be prescribed after examination.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
