Suggest Medication For Burn Injury In The Hand

I burned my hand while grabbing a hot vessel still on the burning stove. It s been 4 hours and the burn hasn t settled down. I ve tried everything from ice water to burnol to aluminium foil. Currently my hand is in ice water as I try to sleep but there s no improvement. What do I do?

You could continue ice pack applications to get relief from the burning sensation.

Apply an antibiotic cream containing 1% silver sulfadaizene 3 times a day after the burning sensation settles down.

You could also take a pain killer like ibuprofen twice a day for 2-3 days till you feel better.
