Suggest Medication For A Bruise On The Face

my 2 year old has two big bites on his face near his eye. They have been there for 2 days and are still swollen and have a small pusy-looking center. This morning he woke up and his eye is a bit swollen and looks slightly red and possibly bruised. Is this just a reaction to a mosquito bite or should I be concerned?

Hi,
Welcome to HCM.

I have read your question in detail and I know that you are very concerned about your child but don't worry.
By what you quote, it seems that your child probably has got an insect bite.
Insect bites cause redness and itching at the site of bite.
It usually has a pale center.
In my opinion, you should give tablet levocetrizine 5 mg two times a day for 3 days.
Review after 2 days.
I hope this will help you.
Wishing your child good health.
Take care.
