Suggest Dosage For Tramadol

My 82 y.o. female patient (I am Geriatric Care Manager) fell in January and suffered 85% compression fx in L-2. Is in pain only when ambulating and/or sitting, but not lying down and often when sitting as well. Tramadol, Hyrdocodone she claims had no effect. She is wearing a brace and went to a surgeon who said she was ineligible for kyphoplasty due to minimal space between fx which could cause paralysis if it seeped out......His words. He suggested surgery, which she declined. Px? Tx?

I understand your concern.
The pain in these cases is really hard to treat because it is caused by a direct compression of the nerve. The adult doses of tramadol that I suggest is 50-100mg, that in drop presentation is around 20 drops. There are some other options of neuromodulators that you can consult with your doctor.
I hope i could help you with this answer.
