Suggest Diet Plans For 18 Month Old

hi! I have a boy 18 months old and until today im giving him morning and dinner meals Cerelac Weat & Fruits - strages 1 & 2. I would like to know if my son is still in a age to eat this type of food, or hes too big already? though i saw there is available Cerelac stage 3 in the market for juniors.

Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,

After 1 year, we can give him all the items on the table. The only thing is that, consistency should be comfortable for him, and nuts or seeds should be avoided (risk of aspiration). No need to buy any products from market, if he is taking home made things In this age, we can give smashed rotti, rice, bread, biscuits, cooked vegetables, banana etc. Also give milk, minced chicken/meat, egg to ensure adequate protein in diet.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Muhammed Aslam T. K., Pediatrician
