Suggest Diet Chart For An Infant

hi dr, i m parul living in dubai, i have a baby girl 10 months old, she was 33 weeks premature baby, her height is 75 cm, and weight is 10 kg, she was taking my feed and semi soilds like cereals,daliya, khicdi, pureed vegies etc. now i m giving her formula feed with all of these semi solids.



i have 2 problems

1. she take only 2 oz at one go and taking it 8 t0 9 times in 24 hours



2. she wake up in every 2 hours for feed on formula feed also.



please let me know what to do so tht she sleep longer at night????

Thanks for asking on HealthCareMagic. Let me mention that all your child needs is basically the mashed version of adult food low on spices. Rather than going for formula feeds, I would strongly insist that you boil rice with pulses and vegetables and make a pulp out of it. You can even add mashed boiled chicken and eggs. Semi soilds like cereals, daliya, khichdi, pureed vegies are things she needs. Formula cannot supplement the nutrition that could come from these.
Feeding children can be difficult and you would have to deal with it in your own way. No other alternatives.
Sleeping habits can be influenced by parents but it is also a matter of personal preference and body rhythm so you can just relax about it.
You also need to plot the body weight periodically on a growth time which will give you an idea whether the child is growing at proper pace.
