Suggest Diet After Appendicitis Surgery

Hello, My 60 yr old husband just got home from the hospital. He had his appendix removed 8 days ago, which the surgeon said had burst four days prior. His digestive system went to sleep for about 6 days, and now is working. He has NO appetite, and can only eat a few spoons ,or sips of anything. He has been eating water, juice, cream soup, yogurt. What foods do you recommend? Any that promote healing? What foods are best for him?

There is no specific recommendation for any diet as long as the appendicectomy is concern patient can have any light diet neither any food is there that could facilitate the healing, this is nothing to worry every thing would be fine, have a nice day.
