Suggest De-addiction Treatment For Poppers For A 20 Year Old Female

Hi I am a female living in Toronto, Ontario. I am 20 years old. I smoke poppers about 4-7 times a day. I used to smoke them about 15-20 times a day but stopped due to a huge amount of weight loss and due to the fact that i noticed I was coughing up some black colored mucus. I desperately need to quit before things get worse. Is there anything I can do to stop craving them, gain my weight back and improve my lung capacity?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I think the only thing you can do is stopping it cold turkey and start doing physical activity instead. Also using chewing gum can help you take your mind out of it.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Olgeta Xhufka, General & Family Physician
