General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

* Intestine infection through some sort of bacteria or virus consumed in food or liquid either through contaminated hands or else.
* My primary guidelines

- keep the hand hygiene at its best
- prefer to take boiled water, lemon juice, coconut water, organic fresh fruits at present
- avoid all commercial beverages, junk stuff
- intake of antiemetic as ondansetron and PPI as omeprazole on an empty stomach
- GI specific antibiotic as metronidazole and probiotic as lactobacillus require a prescription of your doctor.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
