My Husband is 31, height 1.8 and weight 92 and his been suffering from headaches and this sharp pain that feels like its on his heart. it comes frequently on his left hand side. someone adviced him to take a disprin once a day and it wil be better. we went to doctors and non of them can tell us what wrong.
Thanks for your question on Health Care Magic. I can understand your concern. Headache with left sided chest and hand pain are commonly seen in high blood pressure and heart diseases. So better to consult cardiologist and get done 1. Blood pressure monitoring 2. Ecg 3. 2d echo. If blood pressure is high then he need antihypertensive drugs. If ecg or 2d echo is suggestive of heart disease then he may need cardiac supportive drugs. If all these are normal then no need to worry for heart diseases. Simple musculoskeletal pain can also cause similar symptoms. So give him painkiller and muscle relaxant drugs. Avoid movements causing pain. Avoid heavyweight lifting and strenuous exercise. Don't worry, he will be alright. First rule out hypertension and heart diseases. Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wishing good health to your husband. Thanks.
