Suggest Best Contraceptive Method

Hai, i am 24 yr old female and getting married after 2 months. Since i am doing my post graduation i am not willing for prgnancy for atleast 2 years after marriage. I want to know which is the best contraceptive method and their chance of success. My periods are regular and have normal physic with 50 kg weight. Doctor please reply

Hi, every contraceptive method has got some limitations. It is advisable for your partner to use condoms as the preferred one. You can as well take care to avoid intercourse during the 'fertile period' (between 10th to 18th days) of the period. By chance, if you had any unprotected sex in between, it is recommend to take i pill within 72 hours.
Alternative is to take hormone based pills - Levonorgestrel + Ethinyl oestradiol as available (Mala D or Mala N) for the desired period.
You can also try the above methods alternately at your convenience.
