my doctor just took me off somas for no reason after 9 yrs of this medicine helping me, what am I suppose to do? I just had open heart surgery in may of this yr , the doctors figured I would need to keep taking this medication to help with the muscles that were cut during surgery . Any suggestions?
Methocarbamol is chemically similar and works similarly. Sometimes it is a good substitute. And, carisoprodol (soma) has multiple other effects so it isn't guaranteed.
