Received a letter from my health insurance company saying they will not pay for Metronidaxole Cream 0.75% any longer and suggested that I change to Rosadan. My Doctor ordered that this afternoon. The pharmacist just called and asked if I would be prepared to pay $299.00 for a tube of Rosadan. The group of pharmacists working there this evening said they could not suggest other names. They suggested that my doctor choose another med. Is there a cheaper generic cream for rosacia? I ve had this skin problem since being on chemo for 9 months over 23 years ago.
