Suggest Alternative For Vegas Nerve Stimlator

i have a vegas nerve stimlator i had my first one put it was about 10 years ago. then i had my second one put in about 5 years ago. it does not help..when i do have a seizure,it makes it worse.i think i made a wrong choice to have this done.i would like to have it removed.can you help?

Hi,

If the vagus nerve stimulation is not working, then it should be removed.

A small surgical procedure is necessary for this.

You should start antiepileptics before and after removing the stimulator.

Epilepsy surgery also may be an option if the epileptic focus is well located.
