Suggest A Remedy For Sweating On The Upper Lips

I sweat a lot on my upper lip area even when I m not sweating anywhere else. I live in hot and humid Texas so it s usually hot. I ve considered Botox but am not comfortable with the side effects. Is there any other treatment such as gels, lotions, medication?

Hi..

Welcome to healthcare magic.

I understand your concern. Sweating only in upper lip could be because of an involuntary nervous stimuli. It may not be necessarily related to external atmospheric temperature always.

Since you are aware of Botox treatment for excessive sweating and not willing for it, I would suggest you an another option that would help in temporary blockage of sweat. There are few lotions available, one such is in the name ALDRY.

All said, there are a number of medical conditions associated with excessive sweating. I also recommend you to meet your doctor to rule out if you have any.

Hope I have addressed your concern.

I'm happy to help if you have further clarifications.
