Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain it seems that your husband has got a traumatic injury to the ear due to slapping and there is a possibility that it had led to injury to the eardrum or tympanic membrane leading to pain, tinnitus and bleeding..
I would suggest you to consult an Otolaryngologist and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and investigations like Otoscopy of ear can help in diagnosis and treatment can be done accordingly..
In case if there is a minor perforation in the eardrum then a course of antibiotics, anti-inflammatory painkillers and decongestant can help..
In case if there is a large perforation then Tympanoplasty that is surgical repair of eardrum can be advised..
You should also avoid excessive water exposure to the ears like Swimming and diving to prevent further infection and injury..
You can also avoid exposure to loud sounds..
Do not pick the ear..
As of now you can take painkillers like Ibuprofen or in case of severe pain Tramadol can be taken..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards.
