Suggest A Remedy For Extreme Vaginal Itching After Using Estrogen Cream
Yes, I am 64 yrs old an have vaginal dryness . My Gyn prescribed an estrogen cream that I have been using for 3 weeks now, but in the past 3 nights, I have had to wipe it out because it causes extreme itching. How an I stop the itching at bedtime. I can t stand it.

If you are having itching when the cream is used, it may mean that you are allergic to either the active or one of the inactive ingredients in the cream.
Your doctor may need to change it to an alternative.
The only other option would be to use an anti histamine to reduce the itching or reaction.
