hi my son has been having ear infections for as long as i can remember. now he is 4 and the doctor keeps telling me nothing in wrong but my son cant stop complaining about the pain. he finishes his meds but just now it started to bleed, running down his face . what should i do?
It is suggestive of chronic otitis media. Based on the history, your son seems to be suffering from recurrent infection of the middle ear associated with tympanic membrane (ear drum) perforation. He needs to be examined by an ENT specialist for the culture and sensitivity test of ear discharge to find out the most suitable and effective antibiotic to eradicate this recurrent infection.
