You can continue to breast feed the child,
Avoid giving too much fluids just before or during a meal, so your baby isn't too full

• Offer suitable snacks in between meals, such as teething rusks (with no added sugar), bread, yoghurt, cheese and raisins

• You can try offering your baby plain water or cooled barley water (no added sugar)

• Try a variety of carbohydrates. Don't just stick to rice or porridge, but offer other forms such as pasta, potato, sweet potatoes and noodles

• Always include fruits as part of a meal
6am - Milk
9am - Breakfast: Oat cereal with banana
12pm - Lunch: Softly cooked rice or porridge with minced meat and vegetable, plus some fruit
3pm - Milk and a snack
6pm - Dinner: Salmon with mashed baked potato with cauliflower and cream cheese, plus some fruit and yoghurt
9pm - Milk
