Suffering From Diarrhea, Extreme Weakness, Unable To Walk, Had Blackouts. Head, Eyes Sore. Possible Cause?
I am nearly 60 yrs. old. Last week during the early morning 2:00am, I think, I got out of bed to go to the toilet as I was experiencing direhea, and I felt extreme weakness which caused me to be unable to walk and in turn to blackout. When I awoke on the floor I didn't know what had happened to me. I tried to get up but my legs were so weak I collapsed again and when I woke up again I still felt extreme weakness and could not remember what happened. I ended up in my bed in a mess as I lost control of my bowels. What could have happened to me? My head has been sore to the touch above my right eye and on the right side of my head. Ned to me
Hi, it appears that you have diarrhea, of viral type, or may be cholera. That is why you had loose motions so huge and you could not have an idea of of what is going on,and you had an injury. I to my patient with such symptoms prescribe ofloxacin, ranitidine, loperamide, and continuous infusion of fluids till the patient is fully conscious and pass urine, to prevent the renal failure. Thank you.
