Suffering from ADD. Taking medications. Alternatives to cognitive behavioural therapy?
hello I have attention deficit disorder, adult female 22. My insurance will not pay for cognitive behavioral therapy treatment. My professors in my program ( occupational therapy ) are trying to find ways to help me so that i pass my next clinical rotation....I am already taking medication for my ADD..but what can I do to prepare myself for fieldwork?
Medicines are required for attention deficits as well as to control hyperactivity. CBT is add on but not a substitute. You may contact your doctor again.
