Suffering Form Locked Jaw

thank you I had crown work done, have suffered 6 days of locked jaw 3 &1/2 hours open wide after that I went to reg Doc 'EARS ARE FINE" SORE THROAT DEEP BELOW EYES CANNOT SEE IS ALSO A SOURCE OF PAIN
I SPEAK SOFTLY NOW AND AM AGGRAVATED BECAUSE MY EARS hurt ???TOOTH #16 I THINK OR 15

I AM 60 AND HAVE TAKEN CARE OF MY TEETH VERY WELL pLS HELP EXPLAIN?

thanks for your query, the locked jaw could be because of the untreated disc disorders of the joint...consult your oral physician and oral maxillofacial surgeon...the lower jaw should be stabilized with a band or tape tieng around the head..do not oprn your mouth too wide take soft diet..if the dislocation repeats again you might have to go for surgical treatment. for pain you can take tablet piroxicam 20mg..... i hope my answer will help you..take care.
