Suffering Form Cold & Cough Which Looks Like Weezing
Hi Doctor,
My son is 8 yrs old. He suffers fron cold nd cough very often and has wheezing also. My Pediatrician has prescribed Asthalene inhaler.I am giving this from one year onwards. Is it safe to give this as and when he catches cold nd cough?he gets it quite often.

Your son has late onset wheezing illness which has a chance to develop asthma in adulthood. I think your pediatrician has rightly prescribed asthaline inhaler and it will cause no harm to your son and instead will speed up the recovery. Please do continue it and get in touch with your pediatrician.
