Suffered From Breast Cancer And Removed Left Breast. Now Cancer Has Spread All Over Body. Advice
Hi my aunt suffered by breast cancer three years before Chennai Cancer Institute done surgery and removed left breast after three years now she is not well joints are paining the we checked with them they said cancer spreads all over body, we can't do anything now she is counting her days. Anyone can help me in this regard..

In advance stage of cancer, when it has spreaded all over the body, we have to do symptomatic treatment.. For advance breast cancer, there are certain regimen of combination chemotherapy, hormone treatment or Intravenous Bisphosphonates for bone spread. These medication will help in relieving uncomfortable symptoms due to cancer cells in joints, and bones, and may prolong life by few months or 1-2 years. Your Doctor has to decide the suitable management for your Aunt by her condition, previous treatment she has received, and By knowing her ER levels, PR levels, HER2/neu. These levels show the possible response with particular types of medicines.
