Sore Wrist, Black Spots On Body. Bone Scanned. Advise?

my 16 year old daughter had a bone scan today as she has a sore wrist and they are not sure if it is broken from the xrays as there was a previous break there that has healed a bit weird, but there is a big black spot on the wrist and its quiet dark on the shoulders and a few other places what vould this be, we dont have to go back to the specialist for 12 days and I am worried thankyou :)

Hi,

Thank you for your query.

I can understand your concern. I would not be able to comment till the scan is viewed. It would have been better if you had mentioned the radiologist's report which would have given me some idea. The dark spots that you are mentioning may be the growing ends of the bones in your daughter as the epiphyses have not fused.

I hope I have answered your query to your satisfaction.

Wishing your daughter an early recovery.
