Sore On Shoulder, Bleeding. Treatment?

I have this sore that's came up in my left shoulder. Not sure what it is, been there for nearly 3 weeks. I keep it covered with a bandaid because the more my shirt rubs it it starts to bleed and it bleeds very easily! It's gotten bigger, almost taller because it's grown upwards but not out. it started like a small pimple like size but it's not a pimple. Someone told me it looked like a mole the way it was raised up. So I'm not sure if it's something I should be worried about and go have checked or just keep ointment and a bandaid one?
