So tonight I had my lip swell up out of nowhere on the left side. Had had a small bite of something with habenaro raspberry sauce on it that I'd had before and no issues but, thought I must be allergic. So I go to a party and ate some basic foods that I often eat. My lip had gone down almost all the way. But, after eating, it swelled up some again, just not as bad. As that was going away, probably an hour or so, a place on the back of my right hand started itching. I scratched for a while, look down and realize I have a welt over my ring finger knuckle on my right hand. So the itching isn't terrible but, my hands are itchy and tight feeling. They feel and appear to be swollen around the knuckles but no other welts appear to be there. But my palms are red. I have been taking medicine for a cold. Does this sound like an allergic reaction or could it be more serious. I have a cold with a nasty cough and have been taking medicine for it. Thanks
