Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
So I'm 16 and I can't stand asking for help I will avoid it if at all possible. But for the last year and a half there been a few things wrong with me: 1. I get dizzy a lot I'll be walking home from school and I'm just super dizzy and I can't see my vision is covered in black spots and small colored dots. This has been happening for the last yeah and a half. More often I lose feeling in my fingers and toes. Sometimes I lose feeling in my legs from the knees down and my arms from the elbows down. 2. Lately things have been getting worse sometimes the dizzy comes without the vision block and sometimes the vision comes without the dizzy. 3. The last 6 months Ill eat something and be just fine then I'll start to feel like I'll throw up. And sometimes I do. I'll just sit there and wait because I know it's coming. It's no longer alarming it's sort of normal at least one time every 2 weeks. It's almost like picking a movie to watch: "op time to go vomit now". For a while I said "that was just to much sugar" or "I ate to much" I know I'm not prego because I haven't done that and I've had my period a few times while all this was still going on. 4. Also lately I've had severe abdominal pain. I'll be fine and then it will hurt pretty bad and it gets a little bit better when I push hard on it. For a while I thought it was cramps but it's been about a week now and my period hasn't come so I don't think it's that. After I eat it just sits there hurting for a while.
I'm about 115 pounds And I drink about 7 cups of water a day but I aim for 8 I run not regularly because I have a lot of things to do but still reasonable often I eat pretty healthy I hardly eat anything with excess sugar I've eaten mcdonalds 2 times in the last year and both times I did I nearly threw up. I drink a bit of red bull because I have insomnia and a busy schedule I have a dog so in addition to running I walk her a lot. Those were just a few facts, I don't know what your going to do with them but let me know what this is, what I can do about it and if it's totally nessisary for me to go to a doctor or not. Thank you for your time.
