Since The News Now States That Acid Blockers Are Known

Since the news now states that acid blockers are known to cause dementia, what is another alternative to take? I was tested and do have acid reflux., mild scaring. My problem was throwing up. It didn't seem to matter what the food was. I had my gall-bladder removed which was working at 3%. After a year I am still throwing up. I throw up about 3 times a month. My stomach does not hurt at all. I have been on lansoprazole 15 mg for 2 years. My pain starts about an hour after I eat. I am 64 years old and on thyroid medication. I had both hips replaced at age 62. I did take a lot ibuprofen prior to surgery for pain. I have not smoked for 16 years and cannot drink alcohol, even mild wine. I do not want to increase the mg on the lansoprazole. Is there any natural cures I could consider? Along with the test down my throat, I was checked for ulcers which I do not have, and no hernia. My next step is to see a surgeon for a problem with the valve between stomach and throat.
