Side Effects Of Radiation Therapy In Cancer ?

I am suffering from cancer,and i am going through radio therapy treatment .Is true that radiotherapy can cause cancer as i heard from some where so what is the thing?

side effects of radiotherapy and chemotherapy is more. i mother had blood cancer. they had advised chemotherapy also radiotherapy. it was a tough time for her. doctor said if she was young, then stem cell transplantat was a better option. which has less side effects.

This is not true at all, no treatment can cause you disease. The Radiotherapy is for destruction of cancer cells.

Its is completely true that radiation can cause cancer... but it is a very rare entity and usually appears quite after some time
