Should The Blockage In The Groin Be Treated Immediately?

I have been told by a Dr. that my left groin is 80% blocked & just had stent blockage cleared 2 months ago with alot of after surgery problems. Is it safe to have groin surgery done in 3 months time since it took 4 to 5 weeks after stent clearing surgery to heal?
