Should sudden diarrhea be considered an emergency situation?

Hi. I have been having sporadic, occasional abdominal pain that feels somewhat sharp for the past 2-3 weeks. Today, I started having a sudden onset of watery diarrhea. I do not have a fever or feel like I am in severe enough pain to go the hospital. Should I be concerned of an emergency?

I have been having sudden onset of explosive yellow diarrhea for about 3 months with some full pieces of food in the stool. I also have been having pain in the left lower quadrant of my abdominal for about a week. Its not a doubling over pain but more of a crampy pain worse when I walk. Any ideas.

YESTERDAY I WAS AT BREAKFAST, STARTED EATING (HAD AN ENGLISH MUFFIN WITH PEANUT BUTTER AND COFFEE WITH CREAM) AND ALL OF A SUDDEN WENT INTO A COLD SWEAT, FELT NAUSEATED AND FELT A PAIN BETWEEN MY CHEST AS IF I WAS GOING TO GET SICK. I WENT TO THE BATHROOM AND HAD A BOWEL MOVEMENT BUT STILL HAD THE COLD SWEATS AND WHEN I GOT TO WORK I HAD TO LAY DOWN FOR A WHILE. I DID GET DIARREA LATER IN THE MORNING AND BY AFTERNOON I FELT FAIRLY WELL BUT STILL HAD A PAIN ONCE IN A WHILE AS IF I COULD GET SICK. WHAT DO YOU THINK THIS COULD HAVE BEEN? I DO HAVE CROHN S DESEASE AND DID TAKE MY MEDICINE ON A EMPTY STOMACH ALONG WITH A EYE VISION PILL AND THINKING THAT POSSIBLY THIS COULD HAVE RESULTED FROM TAKING THE VISION PILL WITHOUT HAVING FOOD IN ME.
