Should One Take Thyrowel Capsule In An Empty Stomach?
Hello Doctor. i have thyriod and i am currently taking Eltroxin 75 mg. i have now been asked to take Thyrowel capsule along with the Eltroxin, but with a gap of 2 hrs. Could you kindly advice if the Thyrowel capsule needs to be taken on empty stomach too, like the Eltroxin tablet

I have gone careful through your concern.
When both Eltroxin and Thyrowel need to be taken together, Eltroxin is suggested to be taken fasting and Thyrowel should be taken with a 4 hour difference. So about 3 hours after eating breakfast.
Thyrowel contains iron, which can interfere in Thyronorm absorbtion, that is why is recommended to be taken with a 4 hour distance.
