Should Nasal Polyps Be Removed If Having Loss Of Smell?
I lose my smell due to polyps growing like grapes. I use Diprofos 5mg injection every 45-50 days. Should I go to have my polyps removed once again?....this has been a chronic situation with my nose and I often had infections in my sinuses. Other than urinating 2-3 times a night (first 2 weeks after the injection) I feel very good. I am concerned with side effects down the road, please give me your thoughts. Thanks, Michael
Yes it is better to remove the polyps as this will help regain your sense of smell and also help the medication act more effectively. Please meet your ent doctor , he will guide you further. take care.
