Should I Take Ketorolac Medicine For Pain?

I have a stent in to bypass a kidney stone that is in ureter on right side from kidney to bladder. A large amt of pus came out of infected kidney. My question is I have a lot of pressure & feel like I have to pee. Can I take prosed ds to help with that or should I take the pain med ketorolac that dr. Issued. Next week I do lithotripsy.

I read your question carefully and I understand your concern.

Ketorolac is a very effective pain killer and it does not have any contraindication for your condition. So considering your symptoms I suggest to take it as prescribed by your doctor. Prosed ds which you mention is more effective in relieving spasms, that can play a role as well but considering pressure like description is less likely to be the cause.

I hope to have been of help.
