Should I Stop Taking Glicophage Before A HSG Test?

hi doc.im trying for conception since 2013.my doc suggested anti mullarian hormone test and HSG.i did first one but now ready for HSG.im taking glucophage .can you plz clear me that should i stop taking glicophage before HSG as im going today eve for HSG.my doc didnt say anything abt this.i need your help.mrs.uzma naeem.

Hi,
Thanks for choosing healthcaremagic.
HSG is hysterosalpingography which is done through the transvaginal route for evaluation of your uterine cavity and tube patency. A cannula is inserted from below and liquid contrast is passed to check it.
There is no need for you to stop glucophage for the test as it will not affect your result in any way. You can continue taking glucophage and still go for the test in evening.
