Should I Continue Taking Synthroid Medicine?

i recently lost 45 pounds. I am now off of crestor and benicar. I have been on synthroid for 25 years. I currently take .175. I just had blood work done and my TSH is .04 and my T4,free is 1.6. My doctor feels I should maintain my current synthroid medication.

keep taking the synthroid as its all due to your medicine that you became euthyroid. If you don't have any thyroid symptoms, or any side effects of the medicine, its not an issue that should bother you much.
