Should I Be Worried About The Swelling And Possible Protrusion Of Bone After A Fall?

Six days ago, I slipped on water and hit the inner side of my right knee. It is now moderately swollen, the bone appears somewhat protruded and there is slight pain; but beginning to feel a little awkard. Just wondering if I should get it checked or give it more time to heal. Thanks.

Orthopaedic Surgeon, Joint Replacement 's  Response
I think it can be a serious issue. I would suggest you to show to orthopaedic surgeon and get x ray. till you show it to him I would recommend you to apply ice, take Brufen tablet and Diclofenac ointment and compression bandage.
