Hi, I am 37 years old, 149kg and 18 weeks pregnant. I have my 18 week ultrasound today with a new dr and I'm scared that he is going to say my weight is hurting my baby or he won't treat me. Is it bad I'm pregnant at this weight. 2 dr have said I don't have a right to have a baby

Dear sir

There are so many associated complication with the increased weight like
1. diabetes
2. hypertension
3. dyslipdemia
4. Abnormal menstural cycles.

So it is really necessary to treat the weight gain to avoid all these complication.

Dont worry. Proper diet control will help by increasing fibre containing diet.

Thanks
