Should Biopsy Be Done For Renal Parenchymal Disease?

Iam Rakesh Pradhan from Sikkim, India i have a problem that therei is protine and blood in my urine. The Doctor is saying you have to do Bosphy, and ultrasound report revealed the renal paremchymal disease. So my query is Bosphy is need for these disease? I am a male and 26 years old.

If kidney size is normal and there are no shrunken kidneys biopsy is mandatory to establish a diagnosis. You are having one of the glomerulonephritic syndromes. Your physician is right. Go with the biopsy. Hope you get well soon
