I had a rod in my leg 20 years ago after getting hit by a semi-truck while being a pedestrian I did not rehabilitate properly after this surgery or I was afraid of being immobilize permanently the screw and my ankle has always been bent upwards over the past couple of years I have been having numbness and it s been harder to walk over this past month or two I ve had severe tingling and numbness in my ankle it has been turning blue a lot more then it was call my insurance I cannot afford proper Medical Care I have a doctor that does not want to refer me orthopedic surgeon I can feel the screw in my knee I feel wetness on the ride just tonight I felt like water was running down the ride it scared me and it scared me I just got x-rays done the doctor said that it showed swelling and wear and tear on my bone my question to you is do I have reason to be concerned enough to see an orthopedic surgeon the doctor was unwilling to refer me it s only got results from the X-ray and he said he seen swelling and wear and tear on the bone couldn t that mean serious complications?
