Should a patient with severe cardiac issues take zoloft?
The issue is this: My wife has severe heart issues. Quite a while back her cardiologist and pulmonary specialist (she also has COPD) prescribed Lorazipan? to her combat frequent panic attacks associated primarily with her inability to get enough oxygen at times.
She is currently in a rehab center after a severe bout with her heart problems. The doctor at the facility wants to put her on Zoloft in order to combat a depression disorder that she doesn't have. He also refuses to contact her cardiologist or primary care physician to discuss the best ways to address her situation.
What should I do? PLEASE HELP!!!
