Should Norvasc And Metoprolol Be Continued While Having Low Blood Pressure Levels?

If my lower blood pressure is under 55, and my higher blood pressure is 109, should I still take Natrilix SR, 2.5 Mg. Norvasc and Metoprolol Minimex 25 every day? Please take into consideration that in 2005 I had an angioplasty and stent, but after that I had no problems. Thank you.

I read your question carefully and I understand your concern.

Those blood pressure values are indeed lower than necessary. If you get such values on repeat measurements I think your treatment should be modified. You should talk to your doctor about that.

Between those three drugs you are taking I would start by reducing Norvasc (if on 10mg to 5mg) or interrupting it altogether. Afterwards you should continue to pay attention to blood pressure in the following weeks to see the effects and the need for further modifications.
