Should Losartan Be Used To Bring The Pulse Rate Down?
I am on dialysis, trying to regulate my blood pressure, heart rate and dialysis solutions. Clonidine is brining my pressure down quite nicely. I though lozartan would bring down my pulse. It came down this morning at 10:00 from 122 down to 74. At 6:45 my pulse was back up to 110. Is lozartan the drug I need to bring down my pulse?

Losartan has nothing to do with the pulse rate.
Let me inform you that if you go on reading the pulse rate on your own then it may show different reading every time it goes on variation.
Every time you read your own pulse rate, it is better to see the physician and discuss the matter but it is not the medicine that causes the change heart rate.
