Should I See A Doctor For Swollen Nostril?

My son fell and hit his nose twice this week. Both times it blessed for just a short time. But today I looked in his nose and there seems to be a little swelling in the lef t nostril. He says the only time it hurts is when I push on the tip of his nose. Should I take him to the doctor?

Thanks for your query. I have gone through your query.
The swelling over the nose can be because of the fractured nasal bone or it can be an inflammatory swelling secondary to the trauma. Nothing time be panic, consult an oral physician and get it evaluated. You need to get the radiographs done like orthopantomograph. If there is a fractured nasal bone then it has to be treated by either conservatively or by surgery.
I hope I have answered your query. Take care
