Hello,

As you had a direct impact on the facial bones I think a CT scan is a must to see if any fracture has occurred. Any ignored fracture can land up into long term pain and aches. Also, any soft tissue damage which has occurred cannot be seen from outside so needs to use the scanning machines to understand the pathology better.

I think if you get a physical examination and opinions in person will be of benefit.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
