Should I Be Worried About Abdominal Pain In Early Pregnancy?

I have a point in my lower abdomen that hurts if I touch it. I sometimes notice discomfort during the day, but its never painful. That is not something that would happen during early stages of pregnancy right? When I looked online it sounded more like a cyst.

Hi,
If you have a tender point on your abdomen, it should definitely be looked into. During early pregnancy, cramping pain can be experienced as the tube propels the fertilized embryo and as the uterus enlarges, it causes a pulling effect on the supporting ligaments and thereby creates a dragging pain. You should take the help of your health care provider and get a pelvic/trans-vaginal sonogram to see if everything is good and also to exclude any pelvic pathology like an ovarian cyst. Please avoid exertion and sexual intercourse. Take care.
